Ode to the Boot

'This is the Ode to the Boot. They are not cute or chic, but you wouldn't believe the warm, fuzzy feelings I have for these L L Bean boots. One week in snow and ice, in temperatures from 24 above zero to 20 degrees below zero, and my feet have NEVER been cold, never been wet, and I have not slipped on the ice once. I have worn them about 15 hours a day. No blisters. They are so comfortable, I only take them off because I have to go to bed. Today, I was thinking that I probably won't ever have another need for these boots, but I don't know if I could give them away. We have had an adventure together. We're like, BFFs.'This is the Ode to the Boot. They are not cute or chic, but you wouldn't believe the warm, fuzzy feelings I have for these L L Bean boots.
